Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes Redesigned

I’m one of those people who love to clean. I can’t help myself. It is safe to assume then, that you wouldn’t be surprised to know that I’m a big fan of Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes. I like them because they’re versatile. You can use them in practically every room in your home or office.

I use the Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes in my bathroom to clean up after my little guy. He doesn’t sprinkle when he tinkles it’s more like a shower all over the toilet, wall, and floor. He doesn’t write his name on the wall on purpose or anything — it’s just that one or two times a day he holds his pee to long and then he’s running and not concentrating on his aim. Needless to say cleaning up after my son’s poor aim isn’t my favorite thing to do, but my handy Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes makes the job so much easier.

I also like to use them to disinfect things around the house like refrigerator door handles, door knobs, and my computer key board. Up until very recently the Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes were packaged in a cylinder shaped container. It wasn’t very pretty so I would use them and then hide the container away. Every time I had a need for disinfectant I had to go retrieve the container.
This past February Clorox® unveiled a new Dècor line of disinfecting wipes. It’s the same great product but it now comes in a sleek canister with a wider mouth and a newly redesigned “effortless single sheet dispensing system”. I’ve used it a number of times and it is a lot easier to use. I haven’t had any wipes tear or get stuck yet. Clorox’s® new line enables you to “say goodbye to messes with style”. I like their designs, and my container is prominently displayed in my bathroom. What I didn’t like about the new design is that the Clorox® brand is still displayed on the front of the packaging. I would have preferred to have that on the back so that it would just look like a pretty container, but I understand why it’s there.

Are you a graphic designer? Do you play around in Photoshop? If you do then you might be interested to know that Clorox® is holding a ‘Redesign Clean’ contest where you can enter your design that could potentially influence a future set of their new containers. Prizes include a trip to New York City, and a $1,000 shopping spree at Macys! You must act quickly though because their contest ends on March 15th.

The newly redesigned Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes retail at $5.49 for a single canister and $8.99 for the twin package, each package contains 60 wipes. Want to get your hand on one of their new canisters? I have ten coupons in my possession for one new canister of disinfecting wipes.

To score one here’s what you have to do. You can do one or all. Each additional tweet gets you an entry. Remember to leave a comment telling me what you did. A valid email address is how I’m going to contact you, so make sure I have yours!
