I’m sorta in love with ruffles these days. It’s a love that’s been growing. A slow burn really, ever since I found this shirt on clearance at Target last summer.

That’s not to say that I didn’t always fancy a happy ruffle, but when you’re overweight, ruffles aren’t something you can wear very easily. I am no longer overweight. Hope you got that memo. Now, I am finally able to dress like me.
I’m begining a new feature here. Fashion. More specifically fashion that I like. Hope you like it too.
Today, I like ruffles. I went in search of ruffly things that appealed to me.
The following pictures, I did not take. I will try to link to their original owners.

Aren’t these shoes the cutest? These could go great with jeans, a skirt, shorts…you name it!
I love this girl’s ruffle shirt. I want one. I am now in search of one.

This one is also pretty amazing.
I love the juxtaposition of the feminine with masculine here. It’s balanced perfectly.
Did I ever tell you that Sixteen Candles is one of my all time favorite movies. This dress reminds me of that final scene.
Smile. You know you want to.
Finally, to proove that I always did love a good ruffle. My curtains.

Overweight, not overweight, doesn’t matter… You are beautiful. Love your style. Wish I could pull it off. *hugs*
Love Ruffles and your curtains are fabulous! That second shirt is super cute.

They showed that scene last night on the Oscars. *swoon* It was what 80s teen love was made of. I could watch that movie a million times over.
I love those shoes — they are adorable!
