Nicóle Mar­rero of The Pink Chan­de­lier & Writer Dance

I’m an open book, I don’t tend to hide what I’m feel­ing very eas­ily, so my friends and fam­ily pretty much know all there is to know about me. Born and raised in Miami, FL, I mar­ried my prince charm­ing who also hap­pens to be in the Air Force, he com­pletely spoils me by doing things like sweep­ing and mop­ing the floor, and bring­ing me a glass of juice, when I’m all snug­gled up in bed. For the last eight years we’ve been roam­ing the states a sort of hybrid nomad liv­ing where the Air Force orders us too! I’m the happy mother of two ram­bunc­tious boys. I’m a self pro­fessed “girly” girl, who never thought play­ing with hot wheels, train sets, or knock­ing down blocks could be so much fun!
I have an opin­ion and I like to voice it… a lot! You can expect me to write or vlog about the hap­pen­ings in my life, my chil­dren, my hus­band, life as a mil­i­tary spouse, pol­i­tics, fash­ion, makeup or pretty much any­thing else that I find inter­est­ing, amus­ing, annoy­ing, or out­right dumb! My favorite color is pink. I love all things fem­i­nine, espe­cially the shabby chic style. My hus­band is usu­ally easy-going about the decor I choose for our home, but when I men­tioned putting up a pink chan­de­lier in our bed­room, he looked at me like I was crazy and walked away shak­ing his head.

Sur­round by boys, and liv­ing in a new state its hard to make friends some­times, so my fem­i­nine sen­si­bil­i­ties often go unap­pre­ci­ated by those with too much testosterone.

I haven’t given up on the pink chan­de­lier, but I thought it would be a per­fect name for my blog in the meantime.
