Desperately Seeking Bridesmaid Dress

Yesterday I briefly mentioned that I was trying to help my dearest of friends Michelle find the perfect bridesmaid dress. She of course has already found her gown and is having a terrible time finding one for her bridesmaids to wear. (You remember her. I vlogged about it.)

Everything I like, keeps getting shot down.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I simply need to send […]

Two More Babies, Uh huh?

Last Sunday, during our hour long drive to Ikea, my husband brought up babies-as in our future babies. Yes that is baby with an “s” at the end, as in more-than-one. Typically on long drives my husband and I usually entertain ourselves by talking politics, being goofy, singing  badly along with the radio, or encouraging our children to follow our footsteps and act like utter goof-balls. We don’t normally discuss family planning.

A little back story…

Since practically in utero I wanted to have lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of babies.

And then…
I had one…and another.

Now…I’m not so sure on the lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of babies part.

Our children came about because I had a need to be a mother. It took me one year of “talking” to my husband about getting pregnant, before he finally gave in caught up to me and felt “ready” for fatherhood. Personally I think he was just tired of watching me fawn over every single baby we saw, or mooning over the baby section at Target. I think he finally gave in just so he wouldn’t have to see that pathetic longing look on my face. Continue reading Two More Babies, Uh huh?

Bridesmaid. That's Me!

Just got an amazing gift from my best friend Michelle who is getting married in 390 days and who has asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, next March. Since we couldn’t be together on Saturday for her engagement party she UPS’d me her gift. I decided to record myself opening it so she could see my […]

Vibrators Win Over Marriage

I came across this article on Betty Confidential and had to throw my two cents in.

Apparently women in the U.S. are more “likely to own a vibrator than to own a husband.” Yes vibrators are more common than husbands. I believe it. All my single friends bitch and complain about how hard it is to find a good decent man, […]
