& Familia">The Fourth & Familia

I had a crazy Fourth of July weekend. My mom, sisters, and nephew came for a visit and it was so great to hang with them. I miss them and hope we can all be near each other again soon.

Family Portrait - Take 1,354,654,54

Happy Belated Easter! I wanted to post this yesterday, but had no time.

Yesterday we all got dressed up in our Easter Sunday best and I being the person that I am, wanted a portrait of us all dolled up.

It was a lot harder to get a good shot where we all looked cute than I thought it would be…

This was the first one (in doors). I thought I looked weird. I “just knew” I could get a better shot of all of us. Continue reading Family Portrait — Take 1,354,654,54

Weekend, A Few Faeries, & The Ides of March

Last week was a crazy one for me. Not because anything superbly awesome, or out of the ordinary occurred, more because one by one, we were all under the weather at some point. Although today is rainy and glum outside– we are all feeling well which is superbly wonderful!  As a bonus, because it’s been raining since Friday […]

Chuck E. Cheese: Where rude kids get ruder!

This weekend we finally took our son Michael to Chuck E. Cheese’s . We’d been promising our little lad for about three weeks, but with all the snow, were just unable to make the one hour trek to our nearest mouse run establishment.

My son loves Chuck E. Cheese’s. I do to. We all do in my family. It’s a fun place. The place where “a kid can be a kid”-grown ups too. The only thing I can’t stand about the place is the rude kids-and their even ruder parental units. Continue reading Chuck E. Cheese: Where rude kids get ruder!

What I Do When Bored

I lip sync. What? You don’t? Get out! You really should.

Here I am sitting in front of Target waiting for a van full of clowns people to unload so that I could get out. Blue October was already playing and my iPhone is simply perfect for these sort of moments.…I’m pretty sure that the people in the car next […]

Blue October sings “Congratulations” at Rams Head Live in Baltimore

I saw Blue October yesterday!!!  I adore this song!!! I’ve been searching for just one word to describe my experience. One word isn’t enough. I’ve thought of transcendent, incredible, amazing, wonderful, and 4D. To finally see this group that I adore, to watch them perform live with the music vibrating in my chest was better than I could […]

Dinner…Sort of…

We attempted to eat dinner at our hotel’s restaurant. Attempted… I wouldn’t call it dinner exactly… Our order took forever to arrive, it was half cooked, and parts of our order were missing. This is what is considered a four star hotel in Baltimore? Shesh! At least the vino was good!

I was having some tech issues with converting my […]
