Toddler Fashion

Check out Evan, he donned this “arm shield” all on his own.

It is of course one of his baby legs-I think he fished it out of the dirty laundry. Baby legs can be worn of the arms, but I’ve never put one on him, so I thought it cute that he did. He often likes […]

A Party at Both Ends!

This morning at approximately 6:00 a.m. Evan woke up crying. Well…prior to the crying was the coughing. I heard him start coughing as I, being a Mom no longer have the ability to fall into a deep dead-to-the-world sleep. The crying began and a few moments later.

When I realized he wouldn’t be able to soothe […]

Two More Babies, Uh huh?

Last Sunday, during our hour long drive to Ikea, my husband brought up babies-as in our future babies. Yes that is baby with an “s” at the end, as in more-than-one. Typically on long drives my husband and I usually entertain ourselves by talking politics, being goofy, singing  badly along with the radio, or encouraging […]

Chuck E. Cheese: Where rude kids get ruder!

This weekend we finally took our son Michael to Chuck E. Cheese’s . We’d been promising our little lad for about three weeks, but with all the snow, were just unable to make the one hour trek to our nearest mouse run establishment.

My son loves Chuck E. Cheese’s. I do to. We all […]

Grilling in the Middle of A Blizzard

I did it. It was fun. Much more fun than grilling during the hot summer. I think I actually found something I like to do in the snow-and it involves cooking! Totally took me by surprise there…

My sister says only Floridians would grill during the middle of a blizzard, much like going for a swim during […]

Bath-time Business

A mom can get a lot done during bath-time if she’s smart.

While my boys frolic in the tub, and once I’ve done the business of bathing and playing for a bit, I get down to my own business*.

Best of Me 2009

This year has certainly been a year of change. So much has happened. A year ago I was calling Evan “Copper” on this blog, he was just about six month’s old, Michael was still being called “Mo, and was soaring into the last few months of his fourth year.

I’ve changed physically and rather unexpectedly, I’ve […]
